As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer support to address and resolve customer needs effectively. Your responsibilities will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction. Successful candidates in this role will participate in a 5-week sales training program entitled Ryerson Academy, which will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to exceed as a Customer Engagement Specialist.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and work to establish relationships with customers
- Prepares quotations based on customer requests and follows through on orders
- Performs inventory management for customer-specific material
- Works with different departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and erfficiently
- Prioritizes customers' demands and provides satisfactory service to all
- Balances concurrent requests for assistance from internal and extenal customers for customer service issues

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred in business, sales and marketing, economics or related fields
- 3-5 years prior sales or industry experience preferred
- Experience in the Metal Industry is preferred
- General understanding of metal processes and products
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Office, Excel, Word)
- SAP experience is a plus
- Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Positive attitude, competitive, goal-oriented, driven with a passion to excel
