We are seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to join our team. As the Investor Relations Manager, you will be responsible for the drafting of earnings releases, press releases and their distribution, supporting SEC Filings, managing key investor contacts, creating and updating investor materials, management of investor conference attendance, organizing inbound investor site visits, supporting internal financial communications, financial analysis and modeling, and internal stakeholder management and board reporting. This pivotal position manages communication between corporate management and investors, ensuring transparency and fostering trust. Your role will be essential in supporting the release of information, handling inquiries and meetings, and providing valuable feedback to management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate quarterly and annual earnings releases, including script preparation, Q&A, presentations, and calls
- Support financial reporting by drafting the Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) portion of the 10-K/Q and 8-K’s as needed
- Manage the Investor Relations (IR) email box and website content
- Organize investor conference presentations and manage schedules
- Prepare presentations for ratings agencies and non-deal roadshows
- Collaborate with legal teams to enhance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scoring accuracy
- Review external marketing publications, such as Ryerson Gauge
- Conduct analysis on macro environments, end markets, competitors, and market share.
- Contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership meetings, the Board of Directors, and town halls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, however, candidates with more experience will be considered as well
- Strong experience with financial modeling, GAAP, creative writing, data analysis, presentations, and data visualization and research capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated understanding and communication of complex business issues and market dynamics. Poised with a high degree of confidence
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, investors, and analysts
- Exceptionally high attention to detail
- Comfort with fast-paced, demanding environment
Salary: $111,241.02- $139,051.27 annually. A starting salary higher than $111,241.02 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
