As an IT Compliance Analyst at Ryerson, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring IT controls, risks, and technologies that support Ryerson’s governance over IT regulatory requirements. An analyst in this position must be able to apply audit/compliance concepts for Access, Change Management, Operations, and Development. The successful candidate in this role will operate as the point of contact facilitator during IT audits and assessments. This role requires the ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Business, Finance, Risk, and audit teams, applying analytical skills in dissecting moderately complex problems and delivering clear recommendations to improve results.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain IT control procedures and documentation. Monitor IT Control assessments and risks for SAP, HANA, Linux, Cloud-based applications, and other network systems
  • Identify, manage, and maintain IT control issues, management, and support remediation plans, and track issues for resolution
  • Support audit assessment activities for internal/external IT audits and assessments
  • Serve as Ryerson liaison to administer the exchange of information requests, distribute to supporting Ryerson staff, receive, review, and forward audit evidence to internal/external entities
  • Coordinate work to complete audits and assessments, and follow-ups for audit evidence, inquiries, remediation, questions, and processes
  • Maintain, monitor, and revise IT security policies, standards, procedures, and controls
  • Facilitate reviews of Compensating User Entity Controls (CUECs) of IT controls for SOC reports issued to Ryerson
  • Provide support and advice to Ryerson IT and business units for changes to IT regulatory expectations
  • Support Ryerson IT Security with Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) and evolving changes to the IT Security Landscapes

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology or related field
  • 2+ years in IT controls testing, SOD analysis, and IT audit and risk assessments
  • SAP experience preferred - knowledge of SAP ECC Security, SODs, and Controls are preferred
  • CISA certification or ability to take CISA highly preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of information technology, IT operations management, change management, and IT security.
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence decisions within IT leadership and other business leaders
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills are a must
  • Must keep current with industry and regulatory changes

Salary: $63,381 - $95,072 annually. A starting salary higher than $63,381 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
