As a Senior Business Analyst - OTM at Ryerson, you will be responsible for providing support on OTM system configuration during ERP integration and plant rollouts. The ideal candidate will resolve issues, maintain audit integrity, manage stakeholders, and monitor carrier management, change management, data analytics, OTM support, and project management for all things OTM.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Site and fleet configuration including, but not limited to, SQL, PL/SQL, agents and report development (saved queries, saved conditions, agent actions, events, etc), troubleshoot screen set/manager layout/menu management, understand local operational processes and ensure they are aligned with OTM processes
  • Change management (training, communications, & processes): change management; training (upstream, peer to peer, end user, carriers); communications (end user, carrier, supply chain team); process maintenance and development
  • Dashboard creation & updates for both operational and carrier metrics; KPI and benefit tracking; spend analytics opportunity assessments; reporting; scheduled reporting; report development; compliance reporting; cost efficiencies
  • Support the functional team and on-site shippers with OTM technical questions and general support as requested; resolve failure messages
  • Liaise with IT on supply chain visibility, ERP integration, and other solutions to enhance both the customer and employee experience
  • Gather requirements and develop functional and technical designs for requested enhancements to the system
  • Define and execute test cases
  • Be a problem solver. Identify, investigate, and/or confirm reported issues. Determine the source of the issue and coordinate its resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
  • 3 plus years of work experience involved in business analysis, solution design of Oracle Transportation Management, with exposure to private fleet implementations, including ELD tracking events via integration
  • Basic understanding and experience in implementing OTM functionality, particularly in the areas of Order Management, Planning and Execution, and Freight Settlement
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, agents, and report development (saved queries, saved conditions, agent actions, events, etc.)
  • Experience with inbound and outbound integrations of OTM
  • Ability to professionally confront actions not aligned with defined processes or parameters
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advance Microsoft Word and Excel skills, MS PowerPoint, general data analytics, and reporting

Salary: $93,000 - $124,000 annually plus bonus. A starting salary higher than $140,000 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
